UPDATE: March 18th 2020
Dear MVT ‘Ohana,
Today we are announcing the cancellation of certain scheduled performances following the recommendations of the CDC to help limit the spread of COVID-19.
We made this decision with your safety and well-being foremost in our minds. We believe that this decision is the right one for you, our patrons, and for everyone working on our productions.
As of today, we will make the following changes to our performance schedule:
Desperate Measures has been postponed, and is now scheduled to begin performances on Thursday, May 14.
The Game’s Afoot has been canceled.
Once Upon One Time will remain unchanged, starting on Thursday, July 8.
This closure will be a hardship for Manoa Valley Theatre and many in our community. We will need the support of our entire ‘ohana in the coming months. Your donations, season tickets, and voices are just a few powerful ways in which you can continue to support a vibrant arts community in Honolulu. For more information, please visit manoavalleytheatre.com.
Please allow us to reach out to you. We ask for your patience as we reschedule your tickets. We will reach out as soon as possible with more information. We’ll take care of you.
We remain unshaken in the belief that theatre brings out the best in us, inspiring hope and understanding. And, with the help of steadfast patrons like you, that mission will continue.
We guarantee: the show will go on.
