As the Manoa Valley Theatre is about to conclude its historic 50th Season, we want to thank Dwight T. Martin who retired on July 31st after 38 years of exceptional service as the Theatre’s Producing Director. MVT has set up a “Dwight T. Martin Producing Director’s Fund” to support exceptional directors, performers, and designers, and to provide scholarships to MVT’s new education program. We are proud to report that the members of the MVT Board have contributed an initial $30,000 toward the Fund and we are now inviting you to help raise an additional $20,000 as our small but mighty theatre rolls out its new season starting September 1st.
Would you make a gift today to show your appreciation for Dwight’s long dedication to the Theatre?
- $500- helps underwrite an actor’s honorarium for a play.
- $250- will provide a partial scholarship for the newly offered Tech Fundamentals class.
- $100- would help to purchase needed materials for innovative props.
- Any amount will help to raise the $50,000 goal to honor Dwight and to celebrate our 50th Anniversary! A gift of any size makes a difference, and, your generosity is most impactful at MVT!
Mahalo nui loa for making our 50th Season the best ever, and for making the Dwight T. Martin Producing Director’s Fund a reality.
